CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

   This reviled monster craves any chance to plunge its twin stingers into a living host, one injecting a single egg-spore and the other a reproductive amoeboid. Though the monster's original body will perish shortly thereafter, its host will begin to incubate the bird's parasitic larva as soon as the painful course of the amoeboid reaches the rooted spore. As little as 22 hours later, the new Depraven will peck its way out of the host body, retaining its parent's complete memory with many fragments of the host's mind, as though the two have - rather imperfectly - merged into a single new being.

   Depraven learn to speak most languages quite fluently over their many lives, but have little to say that isn't insensitive, pessimistic and belittling; they get a petty thrill out of negative attention, and feel an obsessive need to emotionally agitate a host before their parasitic attack. More often than not, a Depraven can be completely repelled by simply ignoring the lewd insults, offensive jokes and hopelessly nihilistic debate topics it takes such pride in.
