Nastar Warrior
A short, simple fantasy platformer that pits you against an army of the undead. Not much to it other than an assortment of weapon pickups, but killing enemies is delightfully satisfying as very nearly all of them (even skeletons) die in a copious explosion of blood (see above). Your own deaths aren't as graphic, but they're just as much fun to watch:
Enemies
These blind snake-men don't move around any, but they're still a bit tough.
Skeletons attack with their swords and may sometimes remember that they hold a shield.
Flying purple demons with spears
Big, sludgy zombies that can take a few more hits than their crawling cousins. Big, sludgy zombies that can take a few more hits than their crawling cousins. Big, sludgy zombies that can take a few more hits than their crawling cousins. Flying purple demons with spears

I love these weirdos. They throw knives and can take a ton of damage.

Inanimate skull sword things that protrude in and out of walls.
Piglike goblins that charge toward you with their swords.
Wheeled skulls with rotating axes. They move along floors and ceilings.
These slow-moving, unaggressive lizards are completely indestructible.
These bull-skull heads just stand in place and hack with their swords, until they're attacked...

If struck low, a bull-head-guy's body is destroyed and the skull makes a run for it! SQUEE!

Just ordinary bats
Pools of water that form into blade-tossing women.
All these do is flick their tongues in and out, but coils of their thorny bodies form obstacles throughout the cave levels.
These little cloaked guys attack with a spiked mace on an extending chain.

Boring green eagles encountered in the last stage
Ghostly hags that float towards you. Tiny axe-throwing skeletons Tiny axe-throwing skeletons Tiny axe-throwing skeletons

These tiny imp-like enemies hang from ceilings and drop rocks.
Miniature, hovering thunderclouds. They don't move and cannot be destroyed.
Wormlike insects that slither through the air. They emerge from holes near the end of the final stage.
MASSIVE rock beasts that float in the air. In case you're trying to find the face, there isn't one. The topmost horizontal gash is a mouth.
BIG flying beasts from the forest level!
The giant six-armed skeletons aren't as powerful as they appear. They merely walk back and forth, slashing up and down.

Elephant-riding skeletons. A real pain to get past.
Chimera-headed dogs that run and leap.
Bosses
The bosses of Nastar really don't do anything special enough to warrant the individual descriptions I'd normally give them. All of them just walk back and forth slashing at you and ocassionally blocking. The alien-looking bone guy (the first boss) is cool-looking but the rest are fairly bland.
The final boss stands stationary in the center of the screen and attacks with a variety of energy blasts and vicious electrical puppies.
