The cardboard sign becomes a rippling sheet of menacing red tissue, its fringe waving around hungrily. It looks dangerous, but you can now more easily see that it appears to have a shiny, plastic button and some sort of small speaker embedded in it.
You don't want to touch it with your bare hands or even your gloved hands, but it could certainly be important...
