" Soft Reset "

I look at the clock. It's 2: 47.

I've been up all night trying to get this stupid Shiny.

The game is just a shitty pokemon knockoff, so I'm not sure why I care so much. Maybe it's just this thing in particular. Looks almost like a cicada, but with a simple looking clock for a face. Like the alarm clocks. It's got a green color scheme right now, but the shiny one has a red one, like my own alarm clock. It's called a Cicado-over, and it's an interaction encounter.

I check alarm clock again, to see how long I've been up. 2:49 now.

The familiar buzzing chime comes on as I encounter the Cicado-over again. Another green clock face. It looks like it's asking me to just be done, almost like it doesn't want to be here anymore... But, it always looked like that. I think. It's not shiny, so I guess I have to do a soft reset again.

I press the same buttons for who knows how many times now. Left Bumper, Right Bumper, A, B, Start.

It resets.
