I'm trapped in a dark room. No doors, no windows or lights. All I can hear is the sobbing. It sounds like a woman. It feels like a sickly type of heat bathes the room. suddenly, I hear something thump around in the corner. Heavy, pained breathing. Closer, yet closer, it crawled towards me. All I could feel was the cold.

I woke up one night in my house. I had one nasty headache, and my mouth was so dry. I had to get a cup of water. I walked out of my room and went down the hall. Thump thump thump. "What was that?" Thump thump thump. I look around, trying to find what was making that noise. My attention is drawn to the carpet, illuminated by the light from a blue street lamp outside a window. There was something under it. It looked like a little kid with only their legs sticking out, kicking at the air and thumping on the floor. I don't have kids, and noone for miles has any either. I try to lift up the carpet to see what it is, but it starts kicking much, much more frantically from my very presence. I hid in my locked bathroom the rest of the night, and when I returned in the morning, it was gone.

"Come sisters, we must cross the desert and procure the supplies our informant told us of! If we make haste perhaps we will make it before the great wind begins anew!" Long travels across the desert abound near daily. We search for watever resources we can get here. The desert is large and flat, the smoothness is unfamiliar on our feet, it is quite alien. We came across our bounty as informed and began stocking up, when one of the beings arrived. Giant, hulking creatures, blind and deaf to our plights and pleas, seemingly not even so much as knowing of our existence as they effortlessly wipe us out. "We have all we need! Let's move!" We made a break for the colony, but something was going on, something that has never happened before, the being noticed us. It attacked, and made its move with a single arm. The deed was done. The sisters dead, and a single noise rang out for all of the kingdom to hear; "ugh, these damn ants again!"

I saw the most beautiful woman of my life today. She was just standing there, right next to this restaurant I visit regularly. She didn't see me, but I couldn't go and talk to her. There's just something about her that makes me wanna proffess my feelings to her! If only you could see her! I've been visiting that same spot every day to hope I can talk to her again! ... I saw her today! There she is! Standing right next to the restaurant. Its closed today though... I guess she's shy around a lot of people, but I just have to meet her! She's even more beautiful up close! She doesn't speak, I guess she's mute. That's fine! I still love her! I just i just gotta know who she is! She led me into the alley and... She HUGGED ME!! Ahh!! I confessed right then and there! But.. She didn't seem to respond. We jerked up suddenly. Both of us, straight into the air. I couldn't move, and she was stuck to me like, like some sort of sticky rubber. I look up, and there's another one of her! They're both attached by a tongue!! <I>hot</i> I continue to go on about how much I loved her and how great of a couple we'd make and so on and so forth. But, she, the one sitting on the wall like a treefrog, just sort of started staring at me with a grimace. She let go of me and crawled off real fast. I got mad. I screamed and yelled and cursed as much as I could! But she didn't come back. *Scoff* <i>typical</i> I guess she just goes after <i>jerks</I> instead of nice guys <I>like me</i>
