THE SYSTEM TYPE APPMON<
STANDARD LEVEL
BATTERIMON
A non-canon "Batterimon" exists as a digimon, but it's literally just one Digimon game's power indicator. Appmon sees fit to make a "real" Batterimon, who doesn't look as cute, but it's the thought that counts.

COPIPEMON
This one is a "copy and paste" app, and of course its name would be properly pronounced like "co-pee-pay-mon." Cute. I like that it's just some kinda sneaky little gremlin man with cool goggles.

DENPAMON
What? One of these again? It was alright the first time, but this "communications app" just feels cheap!

KABEMON
This one is a recolor of Newsmon now, but as a "wallpaper" Appmon, its resemblance to Nurikabe is more intentional. Can't fault this one, even as a recolor.

SAVEMON
A recolor of Copipemon, but not nearly as good.

PEKOMON
Well, they finally did something a little different with the body type of all those soundwave guys. More interesting face on this one, and the gigantic hammer represents the fact that it's a data compression app. Appmon it smashes actually shrink!

HACKMON
Okay, wow, Appmon's version of Hackmon is a COMPLETELY different, practically unrelated creature and it is fantastic. I just plain cannot get enough of spooky critters with eyes in the mouth of a "costume!"

PIPOMON
This is another variant on existing Appmon that I love anyway, because the base template is just that good! It's also fun because this one has little floating eyeball sentries, and is supposed to be some kind of safety surveillance app!

POKOMON
...Okay...this is the "decompression" counterpart to the compression one, but was that really necessary? Couldn't they have been rolled into one? That makes five appmon now who are just slight variants on this body design. Also, this is supposed to use a giant blow drier to "melt" compressed data. I do not...think...that should be the same thing as decompressing it.

PROTECMON
Not bad, a fiery robot knight guy who acts as the anti-viral firewall App and looks 200% like a Mega Man boss.

ECOMON
Batterimon with a leaf on its head? Meh.

SUPER GRADE
RAIDRAMON
An upgraded hacking app, taking the form of a scary black dragon guy with laser claws. Those are neat, and the rest is alright, but I'm just not as impressed as I should be.

WARPMON
LOVE this mad scientist Appmon! It uses the design template of that traveling Snufkin one a page or so back, but to extremely different ends. Lovable stitchy face and very cute mis-matched eyes!

MIENUMON
Folks on the internet said this was supposed to be both chameleon themed and themed around Leucochloridium, but that was some kind of translation mixup or just flat-out invented. Whatever though, she's cool enough, even if her chameleon puppet would be SO much cooler as its own digimon. In fact, consider the puppet on its own a 5/5 or even gold rating from me!

The master of file unzipping! A gimp!

ULTIMATE GRADE
REVIVEMON
So I had a bad source all this time, and thought for over a year that the next Appmon we're about to look at was only Super grade, and I was disappointed thinking it didn't get to be an Ultimate. So, I get to happily retract all that, and just say that this is a pretty cool one even if it's not the coolest Ultimate this type has. It's got a big monster skull for a body and its ability to "repair data" equates basically being undead!

WARUDAMON
I don't know what they mean by "strategy" app, which is what this one is supposed to be. Shouldn't that be under gaming? They don't mean there's like, military strategy phone apps? Are there? Warudamon is apparently a "perfectionist tactitian," but they translate that to basically a demonic witch, and she is by far one of the single coolest things in Appmon. Not only does she just look slick as hell, but you can tell she's got an almost mollusk-like thing going on, and in fact, she can transform into THIS:
Okay...I'm officially in love.
