CALUMON
The last of the "main character" digimon from Tamers, Calumon is interesting in that it isn't meant to have any evolutions or prevolutions, but has the power to make other digimon evolve spontaneously, even straight to their Ultimate stages. It's basically the power of digivolution itself, manifesting as a digimon, which I'd say makes well enough sense considering digimon are just sentient strings of computer code anyway; this is just the digimon form of the code for digivolution, I guess.
It's a passably cute design, originally treated as a child stage but apparently showing up in a Xros Wars game as a Baby II stage, actually evolving for the first time...into Plotmon. The dog thing that evolves into Gatomon. Eh. I liked it better when Calumon never evolved.RATING:
