DEATHMON
I guess if we reviewed the manga-only Petitmamon, we may as well review Deathmon too, a villain digimon who appeared all the way back in 1997 and never anywhere else. The design feels inspired by the style of Akira Toriyama and maybe even a little by the villain Cell from Dragonball Z, but with that big nasty demon face some digimon draw more from Spawn comics. Pretty cool all around, and also like Cell, it has the power to transform itself by taking on the properties of defeated enemies. These forms have included:
There's not much else to say about these, except DeathTyranomon's weird proportions make it my favorite, and Deathmeramon just looks the overall most badass. They really should have canonized this thing, I'm sure a lot of people would have enjoyed it in various video games, and they could have kept adding forms for it as time went by!RATING:
