ANCIENT TROIAMON
Okay NOW we're REALLY talking. Can you guess what element and digimon type this one represents? Were you thinking this giant, mechanical Trojan horse would be the ancient equivalent to "machine" digimon?
Heck no! He's made of WOOD, silly! This is the plant digimon of the warrior ten! It's not the only time I've ever seen a mechanical, wooden construct treated as a plant-based creature, but it makes perfect sense when you let it and it's always a delight! This digimon is said to be packed full of "gimmicks," so I guess that means a whole lot of hidden weapons and gizmos. Again, way more machine-like than plant themed, but I love that they went with the plant category anyway.
Designwise, it is of course inspired by the Trojan Horse, but as an animate mecha! What would that even be called? Woodpunk? I really like its face, with the cannon for a mouth that also kind of looks like one of those feeding bags they strap onto an actual horse. A lot of thought went into this digimon!RATING:
