Our very last of the main characters is the token "dark" one, inheritor of Ancientsphinxmon's power, but actually begins this series in an entirely different, "corrupted" digimon form on the villain's side, which we'll be giving a review of its own tomorrow - and I'm actually pretty enthused for that one!

It's too bad the kid turns into Loweemon once he's on the "good guy" side, and Loweemon is kind of just a humanoid version of Ancientsphinxmon. Nothing special.

Ohhh, I get it, this line was just the "leomon" of Frontier all along. That can't be good! Competent design I guess, if you like all these gaudy golden inlays and stuff. At least gold actually does kind of look good against black.

The kid never actually attains this form in the anime, because as some of you know by now, every single version of Leomon "dies" in some way or another. In this case, he only sacrifices his ability to become the series Leomon, but that's close enough I guess.
