Garudamon was always my personal least favorite of Biyomon's original evolutions, but in light of so many even more humanoid and just generally underwhelming designs that have arisen since, I feel like I can look back with a lot more appreciation for the big, buff birdwoman.

Anyway, a "Garuda" is more of an Eastern concept, but Garudamon X is clearly wearing more of a Native American headdress, and wielding an entire totem pole as a weapon. I'm sorry (not really) to those who feel that any acknowledgment of possible cultural insensitivity is already too much acknowledgment, but I think this is a case you have to admit is, at best, a little hokey and naive, though I guess Japanese artists would have a lot less context to grasp why that would be.

Removed from all that and just taken at face value, this design is undeniably "cool looking," and I think the most important part is the entire cow skull as a codpiece. That is exactly what a massive, ripped as hell eagle would do as a cow skull, and you know it.
