Finally, something interesting again! You remember Kokuwamon, don't you?! The mechanical tazer-robot-beetle that was, for some reason, a recognized child stage of the fully biological Kuwagamon line, counterparts to the Kabuterimons. So, Kabuterimon doesn't really get a full X-antibody line, but its stag beetle rival does? Huh!

Kokuwamon X differs primarily in its emphasis on flight and airplane-like wings, which is interesting enough I guess!

But...hmmm...Kuwagamon X only varies from Kuwagamon by having a spinier head plate, pretty much. Is that really it?! Herculeskabuterimon X was too different from its Gigeresque roots, but here, the digimon is almost exactly the same thing. Can't go wrong with Kuwagamon, but there really could have been more to it.

Same with the next stage, which only differs from classic Okuwamon by having additional mandibles and some more red markings. Not bad, no, it's nice that they still made some newer bug types in this style, but again...it's like a conceptual copy/paste job.
