THE MAMEMON X FAMILY
THUNDERBALLMON X
Happy to see these weirdo bean people get in on the X-antibody phenomenon...and actually do some original stuff with it! X-antibody Thunderballmon adds a much larger "lightning bolt" on its head, some cool looking wires running to its electrified gloves and shoes, and a pair of cables ending in little lightbulbs. It's overall better looking in basically every way than regular Thunderballmon, doing much more to communicate its electrical theme and differentiate itself from the other beans!

MAMEMON X
Good old Mamemon also looks fairly interesting with its X-mutation. I think I definitely prefer the goofier face of the original, but the more "anime" face is so jarring and uncanny here that I actually kind of like it. It also adds those two...belts? With spiky things on them? Similar to Thunderballmon's lightbulb cables. It still has monstrously gnarly arms compared to its simple, cutesy sphere body, and now with flame-patterned, spiky biker gloves for even more menace!

METALMAMEMON X
COOL AS HELL for a Mamemon! Dang! It's sleeker and more modern looking than the original, rugged metal design, but in a way that's only more menacing. The claw arm looks more vicious, the gun arm looks more alien and futuristic, and the mask with its tiny little eye lights is just a really great look, like you know it has an awesome AR readout in there. I love thing!

PRINCEMAMEMON X
As with classic Mamemon however, we end on the less exciting Princemamemon. I do at least like its X design a lot more; something about the much smaller bean body and longer limbs is just plain more appealing to me, and it lets the regal gown and crown take over the visual balance a little more.
Despite a lack of Mametyranomon and Bigmamemon, I'm going to say the X-antibody Mamemons are pretty solid.RATING:
