Was this meant to be a sort of rival to Dinotigermon? Both are Ultimates themed around prehistoric beasts and introduced around the same time.
But, yeah! This is another Ultimate and it's a COMPLETELY organic animal-like digimon! Wow! That is seriously rarer and rarer at this point in our reviews, and we're only into Digimon from 2003 to 2004 right now. It's also the most official evolution of the excellent Mametyramon, whom it should be mentioned was also from the same period and is considered another natural carrier of the X-antibody.
If you were a kid who thought dinosaurs and particularly dinosaurs of the "raptor" sort were the epitome of cool, then this digimon had to be a godsend. An obvious deinonychosaur of some sort with ridiculously exaggerated foot talons, a hearty helping of armor plating and a top-tier evolution level.
Even this thing's attacks are specially formulated to be as radical as possible: "Ogre Flame" unleashes grenades made of magma from its mouth, and its physical claw attack is called - get ready now - "SPLATTER HUNTING."RATING:
