This is another of those quasi-digimon featured as a manga protagonist, apparently not truly classified as a digital monster yet incorporating aspects of almost every digimon classification - machine, holy, demon, mutant, beast, dragon, aquatic, and insect/plant, because oh yeah, a lot of digimon media just has "insect/plant" as a single category.
Apparently N.E.O. was created by a computer system to be the start of a new era of digital life, the "Adam" to something that would have totally replaced all digimon.
You can see almost all of its elements incorporated in the design in some way, but the end result is a little awkward. I think the human face really throws off an otherwise pretty slick monster design.RATING:
