Wow, okay, for once an armor-plated humanoid god digimon actually looks pretty awesome to me without even being one of the evil ones. Based on Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and forgery, Vulcanusmon is said to have originally created almost every famous weapon in the digital world; even Beelzebumon's biggest gun! He can of course generate fire, but its most signature power is "Pinpoint Weapon Works," in which he instantaneously forges whatever weapon he deems suited to the current situation. Equipping these custom weapons to all eight of his arms apparently qualifies as another special move called "Appropriate Works."

I actually even liked Vulcanusmon's design before it hit me that the armor is meant to resemble an octopus, with the clear dome as the head and the giant flame-spouting tube as the siphon. There's even "eyes" on the dome and everything! What a COOL aesthetic for this guy! It helps of course that the human head inside the helmet is fairly rad looking as well, covered up as it is in bandages and a breathing apparatus. This is so much more than just an established mythical figure dumped into the Digimon world, a more creative character I wish more of these would learn from.
