This legendary Kappa-like digimon is a bit strange, because it's almost point-for-point a 2010 remake of fellow Kappa Shawjamon, with a similar design and strikingly similar profile. Both are said to have been banished from digital heaven, and both said to transform into a "more terrifying beast" if they lose any of the beads around their waist, or in Sagomon's case the human skulls around its waist. They have more in common than even the different versions of Cyberdramon, Starmon or Metalgreymon do, yet Sagomon seems to be considered a more distinct species from Shawjamon. Weird?
