A later addition to the main cast of Xros Wars, Gumdramon feels like another attempt to inject fresh attention into the series with another mascotmon, this time a spiky little blue anime-dragon that looks kind of related to Veemon, and can even evolve into V-dramon. It's called "gum" dramon, however, because it's body and especially tail are supposed to be rubbery and stretchy. Do we actually see him stretch or deform much in the series? I don't know, because I've never watched episodes that feature him and if you google "gumdramon" and "stretch" you mostly get fetish art. Thanks guys. Super.

Gumdramon's main evolution is Arresterdramon, which is reasonably cool looking with its thin, scaly neck and extra-prickly head. It's supposedly also stretchy, even down to its armor which is made of a tough rubber rather than metal, but again, I don't know how much it demonstrates this. Its profile says it's called "arresterdramon" because it uses its anchor-like tail to "arrest" the opponent, but I thought this was a dragon, not a pig.
