We're now going to catch up with the rest of new Digimon released since Negamon, beginning with Baalmon X only because, for me, it's the least exciting of the bunch. Its biggest conceptual difference from regular Baalmon is that it now carries a mystical floating book around with it, which is also apparently sentient and contains all of Baalmon's knowledge. Regular Baalmon already had book pages on the inside of its wings though, and regular Baalmon was significantly cooler looking than Baalmon X. The X form adds a spooky fallen angel wing, a big golden gun and a more heavily armored cyborg arm, all of which are an aesthetic step down from the subtler color scheme and more reserved badassery of its predecessor.
