CLASS: ARTHROPOID Many other creatures, especially other arthropoids, find the excrement of these monsters an irresistible meal, and may protect them from carnivores in exchange for a regular taste of the sickly-sweet ooze. BASE ORGANISM: aphids or "plant lice" are common and tenacious garden pests, their constant reproduction and overwhelming numbers their first line of defense again predators.
