CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT These colorless, slimy amphiboids were designed for hunting in murky, semiliquid environments, worming through mud, slime or trash to track prey by vibration. They are famous for their incredibly rapid healing process, their cellular structure actually breaking down into fluid and rapidly reorganizing to repair damage almost instantaneously. Even a lost limb can be rebuilt within seconds, though sufficient damage will continue to shrink the monster in size as it redistributes its tissues. Attaxalotl are strongly attracted to mud, and if allowed to do so, may hibernate for several years at a time in a mud cocoon, emerging for only a few weeks days of hunting and feasting at a time. They refer to mud only as "mother" or some variation thereof. |
