CLASS: ARTHROPOID
Fusion between a human and a blister beetle. Also known as "lovebugs," these small arthropoids secrete a defensive oil that burns flesh to the touch, but smells sweet and affects most living things like a concentrated reproductive pheromone. Even asexual organisms feel a powerful desire to embrace its blistering surface even as it begins to consume them. Its leathery outer covering is naturally pitch black, but its oils reflect a swirling rainbow of colors.
