CLASS: ECTOSAUR
PARABIOLOGY: This enormous Ectosaur possesses a brain in each of its three heads connected to a single, massive central brain. Though it spends much of its time bickering with itself, its four minds can become intensely focused when the time comes to hunt. Preferring to lurk under the ground, the Carnogeist sends its rearmost head out through the surface like a periscope in search of prey, and can generate an inescapable sinkhole merely by solidifying and de-solidifying as it moves through solid Earth. In addition to its size and strength, the Carnogeist can unleash a devastating, thunderous sonic blast from either or both of its lower maws. SLIME SECRETION: Carnogeist slime blue-black and surprising sweet, almost honey-like. The pleasant odor is thought to attract less intelligent animal life. HAUNTING ACTIVITIES: When not simply hunting and consuming, a Carnogeist spends a great deal of time hibernating underground, causing minor tremors as it stirs in its sleep. Despite its size and power, it is easily startled by smaller creatures and may retreat into hiding if sufficiently unnerved. JAWS: the Carnogeist is armed with three powerful sets of jaws and teeth.
