JUNJO DEATHMARCHER  CONCEPT BY XWARD CLASS: WORMBRAIN VARIANT CHARACTERISTICS: A mutation of the Junjo, engineered by a biotechnician who was dissatisfied with the physical frailty of the base species. Though significantly less toxic or infectious, the Deathmarcher has more powerful legs capable of rapid locomotion, an impressive leap and even a formidable kick, while its jaws are better adapted to biting. The parasite housing its brain tends to hide deeper within the monster's body, and is itself much more durably armored than that of a typical Junjo. Though better suited to physical combat, the Deathmarcher is also less sociable than other Junjo and does not get along well with natural Wormbrains. STENCH: while not as potent as other Junjo, the Deathmarcher can still unleash a nauseating odor of decay. PARASITE BRAIN: the monster's brain is housed in a symbiotic crustaceoid body, which can escape in emergency circumstances to later regenerate the rest of its host form.
