A dangerous by-product of monster creation. These slow burrowers are usually much larger than the closely related Garboid, exceeded by only a few rare, ancient specimens. Garbelch live and feed very similarly to their smaller cousins, but have a tendency to collect inedible materials into a protective casing or "test," which the largely boneless monster can easily withdraw into.
Though content on a diet of rotting trash, compost and carrion, the Garbelch will expel a stinking, toxic gas cloud - with an earth-shaking belch - to incapacitate more mobile morsels.
