These colorful, dung-eating Jokers seem to crave the sound of laughter, and when their incessant slapstick antics fail to amuse, a squeeze of their sonic horn-hand induces painful hysterics in even the gloomiest observer, temporarily warping the victim's mind to find the slightest mental stimulus unbearably amusing - no matter how dangerous.
A Grindrome's lungs produce a highly flammable helium-like gas, used to blow fireballs or inflate colorful "balloons" from the monster's own rubbery phlegm. This also gives the Grindrome an extremely squeaky voice, which seems to amuse it even more than its victims.
While almost any Joker can deflate itself willingly, a Grindrome will immediately deflate - with a thunderous flatulence - if its brain-stalk is severed.
