A rare, deadly by-product of monster creation. This humanoid giant only moves when absolutely necessary, as its soft and slimy body is heavily weighed down by its hollow, pulpy shell and the millions of insects that dwell within. Any tiny, primitive invertebrate is subject to its telepathic enslavement, allowing it to overwhelm even equally massive opponents with a suffocating fog of biting, stinging bodies.
The Infestion finds smaller humanoids highly attractive and may attempt to keep them as "pets" - often short-lived in its oafish, temperamental clutches. It does not have teeth, but gnaws on prey with rows of fused, jagged bone. Its internal skeleton is collapsible and cartilaginous, allowing it to squeeze completely into its tumorous shell.
