   This monster's many eyes have no direct connection with its simple brain and are useless as sensory organs, but the dazzling, multicolored light they emit can induce vertigo, double vision and even dangerous siezures in almost any visually-equipped creature, a useful defense for a monster with incredibly sugary, nutritious pulp beneath its tough skin.
