CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

   These amorphous, gelatinous monsters are simple to create and enjoy widespread use as low-level minions and custodians. They will eat virtually anything organic, drawing it into their amoebic flesh and gnawing away with their stomach-teeth. Eating is their greatest pleasure in life, and they glow a bright purple when pleased.

When a Plazm feels sufficiently threatened, it pokes its digestive tract out through the body wall and sprays its noxious waste in the face of the attacker.
