The enlarged "posterior" of this perplexing hominoid houses a massive brain independent from its infantile "true" head, controlling locomotion and fiercely protecting the smaller, frailer body. Either end may feed or excrete, and will often consume what the other expels, building up and refining toxic fumes in a series of specialized bladders. Mixing its gases internally, it can belch(?) forth anything from a deadly nerve toxin to a powerful herbicide.
A Pugnoxious appears highly irritated by its uncomfortable buildup of gases, but seems to prefer living in this agitated state. It relishes any excuse to attack, and enjoys biting chunks from the lower regions of other creatures once they have succumbed to its gas.
