Nicknamed for its diet rather than any genuine link to vampirism, this lesser extradimensional entity glows a vivid pinkish-orange that intensifies as it feeds. Grappling live prey in its prehensile, claw-tipped trunk, it extrudes a pair of sharp, hollow tubes from its toothless mouth and proceeds to circulate the victim's blood through a small filtration organ, keeping nothing for itself but the precious sugar. Unless starving, it leaves enough sugar for the prey to survive - but only barely.

   If set free in conventional reality, it seeks out dark and damp environments such as swamps or sewers, and is known for its hooting cry. Its body is constantly fading in and out of visibility, but not its massive, glistening yellow eyes.
