Chien-Pao

Our next Cursed Peril Pokemon is the dark/ice Chien-paeo, and this one is actually an ancient sword cursed by the resentment of everyone it ever killed! Whereas Wo-chien formed itself a body from dead plant matter, Chien-pao formed a body from ice, resembling something between a saber toothed tiger and a sinuous weasel made of pure white snow, broken up by little blue ice crystals. The ornately carved, teal and black sword is broken in half, its two portions stuck through the creature's jaws like a pair of large "tusks." It's honestly another very cool concept, and the design looks MOSTLY very nice, though the execution of the sword-tusks is a little silly looking. Each piece has a sharp chunk of ice on the end, which is wholly unnecessary to the design and really clutters it up. They could have not only left those off, but left the hilt off as well, so the creature's giant fangs would just consist of a busted up sword blade.
