GOSSIFLEUR AND ELDEGOSS

Every generation also has that basic grass type, usually some kind of flower, and Gossifleur is a decent addition. Its resemblance to a lady with long, flowing red hair is done in a very cute way, especially with a body that's nothing but a tapered, funny little plant stem. A little more visually interesting than some of the fully humanoid flower creatures we've already gone.

Gossifleur evolves into Eldegoss, and there's a novel theme here of just "aging." It starts out looking youthful and evolves into a wise little granny. That's a really cute concept, and I also like that Eldegoss's lower body is just four fleshy leaves it walks around on. However, I'm afraid I find this design overall kind of forgettable. Both of them, really. Maybe if Eldegoss looked even older, predominantly grey and with a more wrinkled face, I'd have appreciated it a bit more, but as it is, it's just a bit plain and ordinary for a grass type.
