This is another that might not be different enough to REALLY be worthy of its own review, but it's interesting that Delibird was so much more explicitly a Santa Claus pokemon at one point. It feels like it has a very different personality when we put a beard and a hat on it; it even looks a little grumpier, to me! The bag is also more obviously a part of its "tail," which is still really weird in either version of this penguin.
And, once more, we have a pokemon whose visual concept was diminished in its final version. From explicitly Santa Claus to only subtly Santa Claus. Now, I like subtlety, but in character design, I feel like pushing an idea further is almost always better than the reverse.
