Mega Chesnaught
Another that's subtly much better than its base. Mega Chesnaught gains a gold visor on its head that feels so natural, I forgot it wasn't there before. The border of its shell is also a rich dark mahogany color that nicely complements the rest of its palette, and it has shaggy fur of the same dark color that draped down either side of its tail. The most notably and focal addition however are two large, circular shields on its shoulders, each with long spikes that jut forward. Its real gimmick is that it uses these as weapons; it can pop one of these shields off its body on an extendable pole, and swing it like a giant axe!
So that's fun, and makes it feel like a counterpart to the new Mega Emboar with its giant fire glaive, too. With the shields off, you can also see how Chesnaught's clothing-like shell loses its artificial looking, harder edges and becomes more rounded off and organic, so that's definitely another improvement in my opinion.
