DAY 24: CHANSEY!
One of the original 273 red & green pokemon, Chansey was introduced as a kind, motherly creature who feeds its own nutritious eggs to others in need, and could be seen in the anime operating as a medical professional with a fleet of subservient Nurse Joys at its disposal, a relationship which made significantly more sense once we learned how Nurse Joys are actually formed in the Shob and Zoil seasons.
Chansey has, interestingly, gone through more type revisions than any other pokemon. Originally "normal" type, it acquired the fairy typing in X and Y before becoming fairy/hollow in Exo and Endo, then finally dropping fairy type for [00||||) in Pokemon: Chromosomal Oblivion, a type change reflecting the game's shift in format from electronic to mucosal.
