Blowfly comes from this artist's "Suburban Deep" setting, a concept for an RPG about various monster sects operating under an ordinary town. Blowfly has a fun design that's obviously meant to be a bit fly-like, but looks the most like a salamander or lizard does when its body has dessicated. He also runs a monster strip club that kidnaps humans, so while his design is cute, he's meant to be an unlikeably disgusting character. It's actually kind of challenging for me, personally, to accept a nonhuman creature as actually "bad," as if they're always just innocent animals who can't comprehend morality the way we do, even when that's canonically not the case.
