METAMORMON
I like to pick a weird or exceptional one every ten pages, and today we have another manga-exclusive villain digimon. Not just that, but exclusive to only a single issue of V-Tamer 01, appearing only briefly between its transformations.
Metamormon is described as a "phantasmagorical replicating digimon," and as you might have guessed, all it does is copy the forms of other digital monsters, so it's basically just the digimon world's Ditto. I appreciate just how weird its true form is, with tiny insect-like eyes on its beaky little head, wings like drips of jelly and that body that appears to be modeled after a virtual pet device itself, complete with two "buttons" that may be additional eyes.
A very interesting design, and even an Ultimate level, but it's kind of a waste when it's main gimmick is to stop looking that unique.RATING:
