Clear out of left field, this Digimon debuts in the 2021 Digimon Adventure seemingly just so an episode about fast food can feature something other than Burgamon. As an Adult stage Digimon, Burgamon Child could probably evolve into it, but it's weird to me for a burger themed creature to evolve into a potato themed creature. It ought to be the other way around, a burger as the "end product" of other food creatures, right? It also already evolves further into Jagamon, another tuber, so it's probably considered Jagamon's "official" or "direct" prevolution.
Anyway, Potamon is a funny little humanoid in overalls whose head is a huge potato with a "hairdo" of oven fries. Cute! But it's also holding and eating oven fries, with exactly the kind of facial expression that knows it's feasting upon the flesh of its own kind and knows utterly no shame.RATING:
