The Nightmare Story Thread!

It's finally December, and that means we've officially entered Second Halloween. At the time of this writing, we're up to around sixty entries for this year's horror write-off and still only half-way through the entry period. I also have a handful of bonus Halloween articles already written, but to kick off the month, I'm devoting this post solely to your stories. Specifically, I want to hear about your most disturbing dreams. I shared a few of my childhood favorites last year, and dozens of people posted some amazing nocturnal terrors of their own that I still go back and read once in a while. I even saved them locally to a text file, and I'll probably do it again.
Think of this as a spin-off feature of the creepypasta contest; whether or not you feel like writing something presentable as a fictional narrative, you can still share the unsettling things your brain came up with while you were asleep, which is arguably even more frightening.

Best of all, at the end of the month, I'll be featuring and illustrating my favorite entries. I likely won't have the time to do all my favorites, but I'll at least try to do something like a "top ten!"
