GALARIAN ZAPDOS

Zapdos was always my favorite of the original birds for its cool needle-like beak, and you know something I really love? Ratites. All flightless birds, really. So I thoroughly enjoy this long-necked, long-legged, more ostrich-like Zapdos, unless it actually can fly and it just also happens to run really well, like a roadrunner? Actually, is that exactly what they're going for here? A roadrunner?? Whatever the case, it looks great! Once again cooler looking to me than the original bird, and Zapdos was already the coolest looking of the trio.

Cleverly, though this Zapdos is now fighting/flying, the pokedex assures us that it gets its electricity-themed name from the zapping sound of its feathers rubbing together as it runs at high speed!
