LOST POKEMON, ROUND II:
BETA WOOPER

Oh my god. What were they thinking ditching this design!? Wooper is a precious baby, it's true, perfect in every conceivable way, but this could have at least been an even earlier stage, making it a three-stage line. Or, better yet, what if this had been stage one and Wooper had been the final form?! Sure I like Quagsire too, who doesn't, but I think I'd have made it a split evolution or its own Pokemon so we could have a full line of axolotls. I have no doubt in my mind this ridiculous little burrito of a mudpuppy would have been a HUGE hit with pretty much everybody. Everybody with a soul, in any case.
