This being at first appears to be nothing but the rotten corpse of a gigantic elk-like animals, only referred to as the "horned remains." But if you light eight obelisks in the surrounding land, the remains will start to glow, and touching them will teleport you to the arena of this optional boss battle.
The spirit still resembles a carcass, horribly emaciated and draped with its own filthy, muddy hair, but it's as dangerously energetic as any living megafauna.
