Purrloin and Liepard

Immediately after that goofy, loyal dog, we get the other housepet stereotype: the sneaky, conniving cat. Purrloin is even dark type, and as its name implies, it likes to steal things! I can't believe how long I missed the fact that it's the "thief" pursued by yesterday's "Sherlock Holmes" looking Stoutland line.

So then we have "lie"pard, referred to as "the Cruel Pokemon." It's funny we give cats this stereotype of sinister malice when dogs will just turn upon and savagely maul anything that particularly doesn't fit into their limited little doggy world-view, but at least "mean" cats are often played for sheer coolness, and I feel like Liepard is actually the best looking of the cat pokemon thus far.

Still just a cat, though.
